High-risk Adventure and High-flying Romance

(ARA) - Courage Bay, Calif., is a community founded on bravery. The adventures of the men and women of this city's emergency services department make for a fascinating story filled with risks both personal and professional.
This isn't the story of your typical small town -- it's actually the first in a new Harlequin collection that is a fresh direction for the publisher. "Spontaneous Combustion" by Bobby Hutchinson, is the launch book of Code Red, a brand-new, 16-book collection recently released nationwide that features a group of top authors.
These books chronicle a new generation of heroes, the emergency services personnel who are bold enough to risk their lives and face any emergency to assist those in need. On-the-job suspense and danger is mixed with tales of the emotionally charged exploits in their personal lives.
Author Bobby Hutchinson, who has written more than 30 books for Harlequin, comes from a family of storytellers and loves the process of writing because it gives her the chance to "take a tiny thread and turn it into an entire imaginary world."
Hutchinson first began creating stories several years ago when she was preparing for a marathon. To entertain herself while running she made up a story, which she later sent in to a short story contest. She won first prize and her career as a writer was launched.
Hutchinson will be adding more books to this new collection in the near future. You can find "Spontaneous Combustion" and other Harlequin titles in bookstores nationwide and on www.eharlequin.com.
